Since when have you been part of the medianet team and what are your responsibilities?
I have been on board since November 2024 and am involved in the “House of Games” project in the area of marketing and communication.
Tell us your career path – in 20 seconds!
I studied sports journalism and worked in esports for eight years. During that time, I created all kinds of content, mainly about League of Legends, for example for the Prime League. After that, I went straight to medianet.
Which medianet topics are you particularly interested in?
Games! I first held a Game Boy in my hands when I was three years old, and gaming has been my passion ever since. In 2012, I also got into e-sports. This enthusiasm fits perfectly with the House of Games.
A strong network means to me…
… several advantages! You have access to a great deal of knowledge and can normally rely on receiving support for projects and concerns, or simply access to further contacts.
What do you particularly like about our industries – the media, creative, and digital sectors?
The openness and directness that most people possess. You can address each other informally, exchange ideas, and give feedback without too many obstacles. Many also have a sense of humor and are realistic.
What do you like to do most in your free time?
When I'm not playing video games or hanging out with friends, I'm most likely watching football. Preferably at the Olympic Stadium. Even though the results there are rarely right. Ha-ho-he.
Which game should everyone play at least once?
League of Legends shaped my life, but these days I'd recommend other games. Baldur's Gate 3, for example – not exactly a hidden gem, but just play it!
If you could choose which musician you would perform with, who would you choose?
My choice would be Alligatoah, Danger Dan, or Maxim Drüner. If we all join forces, we can easily fill any venue. And not because of me, but in spite of me.
What job would you most like to have in a parallel universe?
I'd love to be an archaeologist, but without the dry, academic desk job that probably makes up most of it. I just want to explore ancient ruins and the like. Of course, I'd also have a hat and whip.
Which fictional character do you identify with most?
Arthur Dent from The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy, played by Martin Freeman. He basically spends almost the entire film wondering about all the crazy things happening around him.
