Medianet is an association comprised of members. Its purpose is to coordinate and strengthen the media and creative industries in Berlin-Brandenburg, to attract businesses, to promote young companies, and to provide training and professional development. To this end, we connect companies and individuals in these sectors, their service providers, and the applying industries with each other, as well as with individuals and institutions in politics, business, education, science, and research (see Section 2, Paragraph 1 of our statutes). Only one contact person designated by you will be published as a public contact for members or member companies on our website under the "Members" category, along with your company profile. Providing the mandatory information specified in the membership application is required for acceptance as a member. If this information is not provided, we cannot process the membership application.
When you apply for membership in our network online, we process your personal data for the purposes of membership in our network.

IV. Newsletter
You can subscribe to our newsletter using your email address. This newsletter will keep you informed about news and jobs within the network and our events, provided you consent to receiving it. This service uses the so-called "double opt-in" procedure. You will receive an email with a link to confirm that you are the owner of the email address and wish to receive notifications via our email service. If your subscription is not confirmed within 96 hours of requesting the confirmation email, your provided personal data will not be processed but will be automatically deleted. You can unsubscribe from the newsletter by clicking on the link included in every newsletter.

V. Job Exchange
Our website features a job board where member companies can post job openings. We publish job postings when we receive a corresponding email from you. The information you provide when contacting us (e.g., your name or email address) is processed solely for the purpose of handling your inquiry. We only publish personal contact information (such as email address or name) of contact persons in the job descriptions if you request it. We store job postings for a maximum of three months or until you request that we delete the posting you submitted.
VI. Cookie consent with Cookiebot

VII. Google reCAPTCHA
To protect our Brevo newsletter forms from abusive requests and automated spam submissions, we use the service Google reCAPTCHA Google Ireland Limited, Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland.

2. “DoubleClick”
Furthermore, we use the online marketing tool DoubleClick by Google.
