Over 250 representatives of the regional and international games industry, developers and distributors as well as politics and cultural institutions came together to celebrate the 6th edition of the games:net Summer Reception.

After a warm welcome by Maria Wagner (head of games:net berlinbrandenburg), Irene Preuss (BerlinBalticNordic.net), Jenni Wergin (Medienboard) and Istvan Tajnay (Ubisoft) the guests enjoyed the buffet as well as the sunset on the terrace and took the chance to meet freshly-new and already well-known key contacts.

The highlight of the evening was the „Battle of the Berlin Game Industry Titans“ where CEOs of Berlin studios fought on the battleground of three different indie games made in Berlin: “Super Head Ball” by Seth van Heijster, a multiplayer game for 4 people. “Miro Mages” developed by Morphcat Games which is an hommage to the Nintendo Entertainment System up to 4 people and the last one “Upbreakers” from Bootsmann Games, an action loaded game for 2 to 4 people.

The Battle was moderated by no other than Maurice „Mori“ Lange from Freaks4U Gaming. All games could also be exlpored by everyone at the game stations during the event.

At 9pm Malte Süsz delivered electronic sounds to the guests. Many guests also went on a discovery trip on the boat Silvia and enjoyed a short ride on the Spree.
