Founded in 1976, the SAE Institute is a globally operating private educational institution for professions in the creative and media industries. The SAE Institute understands itself as an internationally networked creative platform that provides the prelude to successful careers. Many of SAE’s graduates have gone on to win Oscars and Grammys.
The SAE Institute network spans over 20 countries on six continents with more than 50 institutes. In Germany, the SAE Institute has offices in Berlin, Bochum, Frankfurt, Hamburg, Hanover, Cologne, Leipzig, Munich and Stuttgart. The SAE Institute’s practice-oriented curriculum is consistently geared to the requirements of the media industry and enables students to graduate with a Bachelor of Arts/ Science degree after just two years. Building on this, various master’s degree programs are offered. The bachelor’s degrees are offered by the SAE Institute in cooperation with the University of Hertfordshire. The postgraduate programs are also offered in cooperation with Folkwang University in Essen.
