This community-centric initiative seeks to expand upon last year’s findings, which identified a median salary of €70,000, by focusing on a more targeted audience this year. The anonymous survey takes 3 minutes to complete and targets tech & startups in Berlin and Munich.

Aiming to gather more than 2000 valid responses, a notable increase from the 970 in July 2023, the survey will be gathering data in March. It promises to deliver in-depth insights into the prevailing salary trends, with the findings scheduled for publication on April 15. The project’s aim is to deliver valuable data and benchmarks to both professionals and businesses.

Igor Ranc, the organizer and motivational force behind the survey, shared his anticipation for this year’s insights: “After a great success last year, I decided to expand the team and organise the survey again. We’ve already made improvements, and I am really excited to see where we land. Our focus on tech and startups will undoubtedly help. Based on popular demand, we also decided to include Munich and are excited to meaningfully contribute to the German tech and startup scene.”

This project marks a crucial move towards enhancing transparency and fostering informed career decisions. It aims to establish a benchmark for professionals to assess their earnings and career trajectories effectively.
