This year’s edition took place on November 24th with professionals of 40 companies from Berlin as well as guests flying in from Israel, Sweden, Poland and Croatia. Apart from local keyplayers, political officials of CDU, SPD and Die Grünen as well as our funding partners Medienboard Berlin-Brandenburg and Berlin Partner were present.

The exclusive event, like the years before, took place in celebration of gamesweekberlin, the leading cross-industry communication and networking platform for games business, development, and culture in Europe.

Despite of the low temperatures typical for Berlin’s November, the media:net GAMES Matchmaking Dinner’s venue was BeachMitte, an event location in the heart of the city that offers summer feeling all year round. Nevertheless, our guests enjoyed a season-appropriate, cozy atmosphere with mulled wine and a fireplace. The regional three-course dinner included beetroot carpaccio, a tart of fried grated potatoes and warm chocolate cake.


The event was conducted under strict 2G+ rules, admitting only guests who were able to present a proof of vaccination or recovery as well as a negative test result of the same day. An additional testing station led by ceritfied personnel was provided on-site and all guests were required to wear masks when inside and not seated.
